I bought it off just used it for a run around on his farm. It has been well looked after regularly serviced. It has a split in rear mud flap, this is a minor problem really, it doesn`t wobble or creak. Iv had this bike since 2003, I bought it when it was only 6months old. It still has the original tyres on it, although the back tyre is worn. This shows how little riding iv done on the bike. It has never been on a moto-x track. Never been jumped. It has litterally just been ridden round the fields by my house. Recently had new chain and sprockets, this are in A1 condition. The bike does has a few scratches here and there but on the hole this bike is far better than average for its age. a new top end including seals and gaskets so has good compression. starts and runs well everytime, has been an overall good bike. I have kept the bike well maintained, the oil and air filter is changed every 2-3 rides. The only bad point is that the sump bolt hole has been welded up hence the cheap selling price but this has never been a problem as i change the oil through the sighting hole (as with the new hondas). Riding and Classic Enduro Competition. The bike has disc front and drum rear brake both of which provide good stopping power for this model, the bike also benifits from a six speed gear box so for those road miles or long straights on track it will pull up to 60+Mph and all this with a frugal 60-65mpg. The uprated long travel suspension front and rear provide a comfortable and opulent riding even for those of us of a larger dimensions. At 20st and over 6ft I have used it for trail riding over the past year and it has been a real pleasure to use, with enough power to leap over obstacles and climb banks but not so much that you are scared to open the throttle. The bike comes with a full service kit as pictured which includes chain, brake pads and shoes, oil & air filters, replacement fork gaiters, front and rear wheel bearings (not pictured) and replacement chain cover. None of these items are needed to be fitted to the bike although a new front tyre might be needed soon. With a recent MOT there are not current faults with this bike and it can be riden away if required. I will be attending the Classic Off Road at Telford on 4th & 5th Feb where the bike can be viewed or collected if required. The bike is awsome ive had it for about 5 years now and it started off completly standard,ive modified it everytime ive had the money over the years and also ive kept it well maintained with the oil changed every couple of hours and parts replaced regardless of the cost. i havent road it for the past 3 years due to having nowhere to ride it around where i live anymore, but over the last month ive stripped the bike completely down sprayed the frame and swingarm black, then rebuilt it changing the headstock bearings to heavey duty ones then went over the bike changed the fuel cleaned the carb also the oil has been changed, i also changed the air filter to get the engine to run properly due to having a k&n type on before and it just kept sucking in dirt, all cables are also in great condition. the bike is very fast, and fun to ride since the 88 was fitted. Then i took the hole bike apart and sanded the frame i spray the frame white. And the swing arm black then spray the plastices black. There is somethink wrong with gear two but still drive in gear two but everthink esle work perfect. you will have to run it in because i have only drove the bike for about 20 minuts. The things i have bought for the bike. A chain o-ring 520H X 118 KX KXF 125. Twin air filter KX 125. New piston and piston rings. A new gear leaver. Engine gasket set. Never mind, Ill get another one later.As you can see she is very good condition for her age, everything works just as it should and she has 10 months MOT left on her. I have just been right over her from front to back correcting any problems and preparing her for me to ride this season however as I said, she has to go instead, never mind. Motor...I have just serviced the motor installing new oil filters and giving her fresh Putolene fully synthetic oil. She had become a reluctant starter so I pulled the head and barrel of to investigate, I found piston ring was sticking in the piston ring slot, I measured and inspected the piston and found it to be in great shape as was the bore. I honed the bore ready for new rings, I cleaned the slot out and I have installed a fresh set of piston rings and new gaskets. Now she is on the button and rides really well. She will however require a little running in. A couple of hours easy riding should do it. While I was at it noticed there was an oil leak from the drive shaft so I replaced the seal, O ring, insert and sprocket bolt/spring. So thats all new now. every other weekend and a total of about 10 or less times.I`m pretty sure that it the 98 model and in the time that I`ve had it, I`ve replaced the air filter of which I have another new one that the winning bidder can have, It`s had new rear wheel bearings, regular oil changes, new battery in speedo computer thing but sadly doesn`t work properly, this does not affect the running of the bike at all.The bike runs and rides great with loads of torque coming from the 270cc engine, which is red/orange in colour although most of paint has come off due to age of bike, heat, water etc, I`m sure I heard or read somewhere that these where better in some way than the normal 270cc`s, not sure why, how or even if it`s true (any info on this would be greatful as it would help with my auction) I did come off a few times mainly due to poor balance at low speeds and not giving it enough to get up the bigger hills due to being a novice rider.The bike does have a few scuffs, scrapes and a dent in the exhaust which hasn`t split the exhaust or affected it in any way. . There is a 144cc and the orignial 110 cc head as spare if you want to change the power of the bike as it is a vey powerfully bike. It has a 26 ml mazuma carb, two brothers race pipe, two brothers plastics and graphics in ok condition. Also included is a set of kawasaki monster plastics and graphics with a black tank. It has a different rear shock and harder fork springs as it keept bottoming out. Two brother tall seat but the two brothers badge has come of it. Brand new bars and a quik action throttle, new back tyre and ok front typer. i`ve put a new sub frame on it as last one was a little bent! oil change and filter, new coolant, tyres have got wear left in them the back is pretty much brand new! chain and sprockets have wear left in them also. new wheel bearings in front back didnt need them. also fitted new decompression cable. also it has renthal bars and new throttle cable. there could be more just cant remember off top of my head since i have owned the bike i gone over everthing that it could need to make it run good! new rear panels are in post which i will fit before auction ends!! starts after a couple of kicks when freezing but once warm will start 1st time!! the bad points are there are a couple of scuffs on the front mud guard but nothing major!! this bike is great for anyone if you want a reiable bike!! i`ll be sad to see it go :( NO TIMEWASTERS/ TYRE KICKERS SOLD AS SEEN CASH ON COLLECTION HAPPY BIDDING ANY Q`S JUST ASK!!!!!!! Carburettor by Mtec tuning.The bike has a professionally lowered seat and very trick professionally lowered sub frame in mat black to match the engine covers. Trick KTM alloy fuel cap with stubby breather.New michelin rear tyre. Gold racing chain,sprockets,and the brake pads are all in good condition.
