Honda 500 for sale

I brought it home got it MOT`d and insured and had a couple of days ride out of it. Unfortunately this is not my kind of bike. I am lazy so need electric start and disc brakes, which this offers neither. It is as original as I suppose it can be. The condition is very good for its age. The paintwork on the tank has cracked but overall it is a useable ridable classic. It starts well and ticks over nicely. There is no smoke and no unusual noises from the engine. I spent a few hundred getting it through the MOT mainly because of it`s age but it`s now ready to ride. I am insured for it so will tax it before you pick it up so you can ride off into the sunset from the word go! If this bike had an electric start I would probably keep it for life. Not for short people as the seat height is quite high. This will be a great fun bike to own as I enjoyed the small amount of fun I had on it. Please bid if you are serious only. I have another xl500r which I rode across Australia on ( North to South) and twice around Iceland with no problems,90% of my mates modern xr400`s 2003/4 didn`t manage it without breakdowns ha ha ha he he he. happy bidding X

I fitted a CRF450 front end for the better brakes and suspension.
