accident and dose have some small damage. the exhaust was broken so i welded it back up and seems fine now but may need to gone over again. the front right indicator is broken and will need to be replaced the bracket is bent and needs to be bent back.the front break lever is broken and will need to be replaced there is a largish crack in the front mudguard and some scratches all over the bike. also one panel missing on the left hand side.the speedoo drive is broken and needs to be replaced but was working before the accident.i do NOT hold the v5 it dose have tax and mot but im hoping i can get all of this of my friend by the end of the auction but i cannot be sure.both the wheels have large dents in them and will most likely need to be replaces.good pointsframe and handle bars and straight just had a new speedo cablenewish break padsnew spark plug new battery good tyresgood chain and sprockets all the electric`s work just need a new headlight bulb. starts first time every time. rides grate. its very cheep to run and very nippy if you have any questions please feel free to ask. you bid to buy not to come and haggle please no time wasters this item is for collection only. from wiveliscombe Somerset.cash on collection. Maybe again in a few years!! | I bought this bike from Herts MX, a Honda Main Dealer as a year old. Have all invoices etc. I have used it three times. Twice at Apex MX and once at Wildtracks. Wish I had the time as I love riding it! | It has just come out of the Honda dealer last week. Has had a new coil pack, valves springs, clearances checked, oils, air filters changed etc. Anyone serious can speak to the Honda MD and confirm what has been done, how little use its had etc.. I know everyone says ‘Used as a spare bike` ‘only ridden once`, but this is 100% genuine. You will know when you see it. I have friends with 2012 bikes in worse nick. | Changed the Engine + Gearbox oil after every ride. Pointless I know but I actually enjoy doing it. Oil is so clean it could actually go back in!. | Completely standard bike mechanically other than Full Dep System with Powerbomb Header (Sounds savage). Bought this from Honda Dealer. Have original exhaust in box. | Currently on very rare 1SD John Player Graphics on black plastics with matching seat cover. See photos. Always admired at tracks. Never seen another like it. spare time. Overall not a bad bike considering its a 16 year old motocrosser. Sold as a non runner due to an irregular spark. I havnt really looked into it to be honest. Has stacks of compression so top end is fine. Selects gears fine and clutch feels ok. From what i can see the bike will need clutch case gasket as it currently only has gasket sealant. The right hand crank case has been repaired in the past (welded) but looks messy. if i was keeping it i would find a replacment but thats just me. Also the swingarm bolt isnt the original one as its a smaller diameter so would need to get a propper one. Apart from that its just the plastics that really let it down cosmetically, previous owner tried to paint them...bad idea! | now if that hasnt put you off there are lots of postive points... | Both brakes work well. | Front showa forks are really clean with no sign of leaks. | Rear shock is fine. | Frame looks strong and crack free, been powder coated in the past. | Engine has lots of compression. | Has a SPES exhaust system which is in great condition. | Wheels are straight but are just standard which have been painted in the past. | good sprockets. | overall this is a great project which wont cost too much money to put right.
