has had new tyres maxxies new brake pads new chain and sprockets rethal protapper fat bars with adapters fmf stuby tail pipe I think its standard one on front but has had a few bits welded on it but does not leak the only thing the bike needs is rear wheel bearings I don`t wanna sell the bike but need a road bike so she`s gotta go cash on collection bid to buy any qustions please ask sold as seen X

BIKE TO ME (IM 27) ITS A LITTLE TO SMALL FOR ME SO IVE DECIDED TO SELL IT AND MAYBE GET SOMETHING BIGGER OR A BETTER CAR HAVENT DECIDED. THE BIKE WHILST IVE HAD IT HAS HAD THE TOP END REBUILT TWICE.THE 1ST TIME IT JUST HAD A NEW PISTON/RINGS/GASKET.THE 2ND TIME ITS HAD THE FULL WAMMY ITS HAD THE NIKEL/CHROME LINING KNOCKED OUT OF THE BARREL AND HAD A STEEL SLEEVE PUT IN (REASON FOR THIS IS TO REDUCE REPAIR COST WHEN YOU REBUILD TOP END SO NOW INSTEAD OF IT NEEDING A NEW SLEEVE IF YOU SCRATCH THE BARREL YOU JUST GET IT REBORED IT WORKS OUT ABOUT £200 CHEAPER WITH A REBORE THEN A RESLEEVE. WHILST THAT WAS DONE IT HAD NEW LITTLE END BEARINGS / NEW TOP END GASKETS /GUNGEN PIN AND C CLIPS (VERY IMPORTANT) NEW PISTON/RING /NEW GENUINE HONDA EXHAUST GASKET /NEW EXHAUST SPRINGS/GEARBOX OIL /SPARKPLUG THE FULL HPP SYSTEM REMOVED DECOKED AND THEN PUT BACK IN .THE POWER VALVE BLADES WHERE CUT ON A LAVE TO MATCH THE SIZE OF THE STEEL BARREL (BLADES CANT HIT PISTON) EVEN THE GUIDES WHERE CUT DOWN TO STOP ANY PROBLEMS MASSIVE PROBLEMS IF YOU DONT GET THAT DONE.IT HAD THE WATER PUMP COMPLETELY REBULIT CLUTCH WAS REMOVED AND CHECKED .ITS EVEN GOT AN EXHAUST SYSTEM ON IT IVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE BUT THE FRONT PIPE IS A REALLY NICE BIT OF KIT THINK THE BACKBOX IS A DEP OR FMF UNIT. have had some good fun with it but in the last couple of years as my son as got older & got himself a car it has been used less & less so now has come the time to sell it.The bike is in good condition for the year,runs well,it has had a top end re-build,new fork seals & oil,new front pads,new clutch cable, the tyres are good as are the wheel bearings,good chain & sprockets & as you can see in the pictures some brand new plastics.It has a full DEP race pipe & as per pictures,the original exhaust is there too,as you can see,the seat has a small split in it which has got no worse since we`ve had it,also there is a brand new air filter (not pictured).I can deliver this locally once the sale is agreed as i have a bike rack on my van.Any inquires,you can mail me or call on 07720838127. Like many things once you have found one fault it then leads to another and another and so on, so here goes, iv re bored it 1mm oversize,new cylinder head and piston, new clutch, linkage bearings, fork seals, wheels, brakes, cosmetics, the list goes on(please look at the photos). It now runs fabulous, just like im sure it did in the 80 s, and it runs like it looks at last! ( none of this it needs running in scenario). Im selling because im more of a mechanic than a rider, and i wont use it now its finished for fear of ruining its condition after all the work i have put into it, after all i was never in it to ride it only re build it. Honda CR 125M Elsinore: Vintage Motocross Bike - 1977....

Vintage - 1977 Honda CR 125M Elsinore. One careful owner from new. Used for competition for 2.5 seasons. 1978 - 1980 (June) in AMCA juniors. Top end re-build...>

with Wiseco forged piston & kit. New chain & sprockets, front and rear brake shoes. Air-filter. Doherty quick action throttle. Carb re-jetted & upgraded etc.. Everything proffessionally done in Aug 82. Very well maintained bike & serviced regularly. Bike has been stored and covered in heated garage since 1982. Its been used occasionally for fun/green laning since then. The motor is very crisp and responsive, the gears (six speed) are firm and positive. Adjustable air-shocks, it has not been ridden hard and everything on it is straight and true - frame, swing arm, shocks, forks, wheels, bars, all bearings & bushes etc.. The bike is in excellent condition for year, and is fast and ready to race! It has a couple of minor marks, but it is a motocross bike and these things go with the territory, easily made perfect again! New Michelin AC-10 rear tyre recently fitted. Honda workshop manual, side-stand & new genuine Honda spares kit including - complete engine gasket set, exhaust springs, Honda elsinore CR125M decals, 40 piece polished stainless-steel allen head bolt kit, brake and clutch levers etc... Apart from the Doherty throttle unit & pro-grips, it is 100% original Elsinore MX. A very nice bike, and very reliable! It sounds fantastic to hear - very distinct exhaust note, and goes like a bullet X
