It has always been well maintained regardless of cost and has a number of quality after market add ons. The bike had been owned by a mature owner before me who works with my dad which is the reason why i bought it because i knew it had not been used and abused, it is in fantastic condition and had been maintained to a high standard. The only thing of note is a small alloy weld repair on the crank case at some point as pictured. The previous owner had set it up and used it for enduro/trail riding rather than motoX which is why it has a side stand and fly wheel weight added, but he injured himself, so ended up never used it. Since i have owned the bike i have only used it for enduro riding (www.endurokent.com) and for fun on my dads farm. Overall it is a fantastic bike with plenty of power and is not for the faint hearted. The bike has just had a fresh oil change, coolant change, Air filter etc and even comes with a full tank of fuel. All it needs now is a new rider. spare time. Overall not a bad bike considering its a 16 year old motocrosser. Sold as a non runner due to an irregular spark. I havnt really looked into it to be honest. Has stacks of compression so top end is fine. Selects gears fine and clutch feels ok. From what i can see the bike will need clutch case gasket as it currently only has gasket sealant. The right hand crank case has been repaired in the past (welded) but looks messy. if i was keeping it i would find a replacment but thats just me. Also the swingarm bolt isnt the original one as its a smaller diameter so would need to get a propper one. Apart from that its just the plastics that really let it down cosmetically, previous owner tried to paint them...bad idea! | now if that hasnt put you off there are lots of postive points... | Both brakes work well. | Front showa forks are really clean with no sign of leaks. | Rear shock is fine. | Frame looks strong and crack free, been powder coated in the past. | Engine has lots of compression. | Has a SPES exhaust system which is in great condition. | Wheels are straight but are just standard which have been painted in the past. | good sprockets. | overall this is a great project which wont cost too much money to put right. must go. shes got exell rims and red carbon talon hubs with nearly new tyres on. plus origanals with sprocket discs and tyres in ok nick, rg3 triple clamps which makes her turn great, plus origanal new two two plastics and graphics, full pro circuit pipe just had front re-chromed, new headstock bearings, linkage and shock bearings, forks serviced and new seals, new twin metel renthal sproket and chain, wavey discs stripped down autosol`d everything geased up warm washed and wd40`d everytime i rode which hasnt been much, got owners manual also with a few bits from the origanal spares kit ive only practiced on this bike and before i owned it i bought it of my mate who bought it brand new in late 03 rode it a few times and went to australia in 05` was sat in his garaged till 2012 which is when i bought it. i put a new piston and ring in it after ten hours riding and probly done 4 hrs since then. you will not get a better bike!!!! us the fenders (all origonal honda) were in primer,as these are all paintable and the tank was half-way rubbed down,we got a professional paintjob done on them so all it would need are the honda wings putting on the tank,which are easily available on ebay.the paint finish is incredible and by far surpasses what this bike looked like new.the rest of the bike is origonal,even down to the tyres are the ones which came stock on this bike 34 years ago,the rims are UNMARKED and the spokes look like new but they are the origonal wheels,never been messed with-even the DID sticker is still on the rims,i would say this bike has been used for 3 or 4 hours from new.The motor is all good,we havent stripped it to check but it starts and goes through the gears fine,the clutch plates were stuck together but we freed those up by taking the clutch apart.The only non geniune thing i can see on the bike is the motor mount nuts have been replaced with nylock items which im sure work better then the origonals but look crap,i would change these but i didnt want to mess with such an origonal bike.The pipe is origonal and unmarked,though the silencer has been re-packed i think.there`s a new air filter and weve put fresh oil in the motor.The rubber band is missing from the sidepanels,this holds the front in tight.The only other thing the bike was miss X | £2600.00 | |||||||

250 rh work that i have done to bike is powder coated frame, new wheel bearings on oem wheels,forks rebuilt,new ufo plastics,new renthal bars,the engine was fully rebuilt by previous owner at a cost of £700 +, work that was done by previous owner to engine was new steel liner new prox piston,new prox conrod,new main bearings,new waterpump shaft plus impeler,and all gears replaced wen i 1st got the bike i removed top end to check and true to previous owners word there it was new piston etc which hadnt even been run that was good enough for me to believe all the work had been carried out by previous owner forgot to mention all seals and gaskets were also replaced i replaced head gasket with oem gasket wen i removed top end the engine is mint you wont get a better one the bike also has a white power shock and pro circuit front pipe tyres ok brakes good lower shock bearing has slight play and could do with replacing also the pipe has a dent in both these faults are minor and easily repaired also missing front fork gaiters but i do have a new set to be fitted and included in the sale ov bike I`ve probably missed quite a bit about the bike and will add to listing during auction clutch outer cover and alloy stator cover could do with repainting if i have time i will do these before auction ends any questions give me a call 07923091 X | £1750.00 | |||||||
