well looked after and has recently had a new piston fitted. Excellent compression and starts first kick. New graphics. Plenty of life left in the Tyres, Chain and sprockets. New rear brake pads Rental bars Comes with a Enduro pack – battery operated front and rear lights, stop watch ,hand guards, a spare front tyre – used but still with a few rides in it, 2 x air filters plus one on the bike and an assortment of engine gaskets. Also a genuine Honda CR250 manual. I bought this bike from a friend and so know its history. Reason for sale is that I don`t have the time to ride it enough, so here it is! I have owned this for about 2 years, I used to race when I was a young teenager and i had the urge to do it again now I am older so bourght this bike 2 years ago but I just never get time. Used 6 times during ownership. i know every seller says "little use" but this really is. Maintained to a very high standard everything lubricated after washing etc chain left lubricated and always always run off the carburreta after use so it keeps the reeds and jets clean and free as the petrol evaporates and leaves an oily residue causing maintainance problems, loads of new parts fitted as and when required, I run it with slightly more oil in the fuel but as i only ride for recreational use I don`t see the point it thrashing them or letting the engine get hot by low oil mixture. Strong compression and very good starter. Bike has black excel rims DEP exhaust, good tyres with lots of tread plus gold rear sprocket. Wavey Discs front and back and relatively new pads front and back. ONE industries graphics Serviced regularly including full strip down inspection and re assembly, replacing whatever is necessary. all ID marks as they should be. Very clean and tidy, no nasty scratches or scuffs, rides loverly with no gearbox noise or wheel bearing issues etc - any inspection welcome including riding it Included in sale is :- 1. it is smoother to ride and not as aggressive and snappy as a standard CR250. It is also road registered so it is the perfect XC/enduro/green lane bike. It is in very good condition and has always been well looked after and maintained. The oil has been changed after every other ride and air filter cleaned after every ride. It has always been run on the best Castrol TTS fully synthetic 2 stroke oil. I know the 2 previous owners and this has always been the case. BAD POINTS Few minor dints on exhaust Plastics slightly scuffed in places Handle bar grips worn (£5 to replace) No tax or MOT As i have said above this bike is in good condition for the year but it is certainly not in show-room condition. but i dont know how to check? he owned the bike for 2 years until i bought it in 2007, i have used the bike for one summer (in 07) then it hasnt been uesd since. as you can see by the pics is in very good original condition just as it came from new. the bike is still on its original pirelli tyres, still on its original honda chain & sprockets and hasnt had a piston change in its life, as you can see the bike hasnt been used much, plastics & seat are still excellent with only minor scratches, not much wear on the clutch cover and only one tiny dent in the standard exhaust. i have the some of the spares kit that comes with the bike when bought from new, it includes- piston, rings, small end bearing, gudgeon pin, jet kit, rear brake pads, front brake lever, i dont have the gasket kit or the manual because they were `loaned` out to friends and they were never returned. i give £3k for the bike 3 years ago and im hoping for as close to the sking price as possible simply because the bike hasnt realy been used. i have put the option of best offer on the advert but i wont accept any offers via this, you can make a offer if you wish but you must include a email with your number attatched, if you want the bike you must get in touch via email or phone, arrange to view then discuss money. as i said i want as close to the asking pri X
