The valves have been checked and the piston was changed in March of last year (roughly 5 months use). You will see this is a very good example of a well looked after bike for its year. It does have a few extra bits on it: Hinson clutch cover Works Connection clutch lever and hot start assembly Vented mudgaurd New Renthal bars and grips Now the honest bits... The plastics are recent and have slight marks, but maybe just a set of graphics will really set the bike off. The tyres are both good, but the rear tyre will need changing due to a nobble missing. It has new brake pads front and rear, new disc`s front and rear , new chain and sprockets. Its has high rise bars , grippy seat cover, Its has a new Maxxis rear tyre with less than 100 miles on it . We have had a top end overhaul with new piston rings , 2 new inlet valves , 4 valve stem seals . It has a new clutch H/D clutch springs new clutch basket and kickstart and kickstart gears. It is fully serviced and every thing works. It is sorn at present and the MOT runs out this month which we will put a new one on if the price is reached. This is a well looked after XR and sadly or not must go as i need the space. We have both bought new bigger bike now. fast.been owned by me for the past 10 years.only selling due to lack of use been stood for 18 mths, i have just serviced the bike i.e new plug,filter,oil,etc.this bike was stolen from me and i reported it stolen to police and 3 weeks later there was one adverstised in my local paper so i went to view and as luck would have it there was my bike,they had grinded the frame numbers off but had not grinded the engine numbers off i have since had the frame numbers re stamped and the bike will be sold with a reciept. two day after buying it I was taken in to hospital to have a operation on my knee and was off work for 8 weeks so the fun has to pay for my 8 weeks off over xmas. What can I tell you about the bike, I have just put 12mths MOT on the bike, new head bearings and a back tyre. It also comes with the off road wheels (will need a back tyre for the rear and a tube for the front). It has tax up to end of march. It does not have a cable for the decompression lever but not a problem to start it. As for the condition of the bike - it has all the usual wear and tear that you would expect from a bike of this caliber. The sticker on the tank has bubbles in it and there is a slight dink in the front wheel - not that noticeable but thought I should mention it. The one thing that I should say is that I cannot guarantee the mileage as the speedo only works with the off road wheels. is stated in most eBay ads, I`ve ridden it twice since taking it in part-ex on another bike from a friend it had had a top end service and valves replaced, compression is good and there are no nasty noises amazingly for a CRF it starts easily and has no popping or banging when riding. Since Owning it I have changed the oils twice once with filter when I first got it and after the last ride.The rides were full days practise at Essex and Riverside. Riverside being the last ride last October just before it closed.The last owner fitted new O ring chain, Talon sprockets and new Acrebis plastics with Rockwell Grafics kit shortly before I got it. The bike is fited with Fat bars and associated clamps New set of Dunlop MX51 tyres that have done the two practise days, the rear wheel has a Talon Hub. Learner bike, Much faster than any 4 stroke equivalent with Legendary Honda reliability. Ideal for Taller Rider (although fine for shorter person too!) Better than commuter/sports style 125 for taller rider, I am 6"5 and this fits me! I bought this back in May to use for a few weeks while I did my DAS course, I loved the bike so much I have kept it for almost a year! Bought from a motorcycle dealer who performed a full check/service prior to me buying. Only selling due to lack of use and too many toys. (having passed my test I have bigger bikes now and this doesnt get the use it should. Although have given it a run out every few weeks) It has always started within a couple of kicks. I have replaced Oil every couple of months, Replaced spark Plug around 3 months ago, always warmed before riding and generally loved and caressed throughout my ownership. There are NO mechanical faults that I am aware of, apart from a couple of cosmetic issues that are to be expected on a bike of this age. Specifically the right rear indicator stalk has snapped. (secured with tape and absolutley fine also very cheap repair if required) Also the rear plastics are a bit tatty/cracked as shown in photo, again cheap repair, but its never bothered me! it starts with just 1 or 2 kicks hot or cold. I have added Excel wheels with Talon hubs. Front 17" x 3.5 and Rear 17" x 4.25, the tires fitted are Maxxis Road Legal cut slicks. A Motomaster front caliper and a Braking oversize front disc, (this certainly makes you stop) There is a new DID X-Ring chain just fitted and the sprockets currently on for supermoto are 16 front, 42 rear. I also have a 13 front and 52 rear for off road use. The off road wheels & Tyres are included in the sale. The bike has a Doma exhaust system and the suspension has been upgraded with Bud Racing suspension, which also included fork intenals and lighter oil. I have fitted new plastics and graphics but I also have the old set of plastics for off orad use which you can see in pictures and are near new condition, I also have some spare plastics, some of which are brand new and some used. I fitted a Trailtech Supermoto Side Stand for convenience when on the road. The bike was only just MOT`d last month and has 11 months remaining along with 11 months tax. Its still go all original plastics in red. I have to say this bike is a big throaty powerful bike. It sounds great, pulls great and looks mean on the streets. I do have the V5 in my name, and the key for the ignition. the electrics on the bike have not been cut, so indicators, horn and lights could easily be refitted to make it road legal again. the engine has had no modification at all as I did not want to compromise the reliability of the bike. It has cg 125 forks and yokes fitted, with a cg hub laced to a c90 rim, the tires are school boy moto x tires and are not road legal, but I do have the originals for the buyer. it has new rear shocks and exhaust, handle bars,foot rests, etc. the bike has been hand painted, so dont expect it to look like a show winner. it would make a great field bike, if it was not put back on the road as these bikes are said to be nearly indistructable.
