2002 HUSQVARNA SM 570R BLACK

Selling my Husky 570 SMR after having it a year. Now looking for something fun that combines this and my other bike, a Fireblade, into one if possible!...>

Only done 150 miles max. since I got it and during ownership also fixed the speedo, the dash lights, replaced the oil, cleaned the filters and watched it sail through the MOT with only a number plate reflector required! This has the full slipper clutch fitted too which transforms the bike and was fitted shortly before I bought it so has very low miles on it but due to the nature of the speedo on these bikes can`t tell exact mileage but you`ll see from bike`s overall condition it is obviously very low. I also have a few extras that I`ve never been fitted - race plastics in yellow, (really!) loud race exhaust that apparently will see it hop across the garage floor!, spare air filter, indicators in packet and a brand new unused disc lock in case you leave it somewhere. Great fun to ride, loads of torque and totally different to a sports bike as it flicks round corners, can see way over the roofs of cars in front, filtering easy and can handle any surfaces not just tarmac. I have 100% feedback over many years so buy with confidence i have nowhere nor anything to hide. Any photos I can send no problems or any questions welcome. I am happy to let anyone ride it but first need the sale price as deposit to be held by 3rd party (wife!) to cover myself. It inherits a look that is particularly aggressive and appealing, reflecting the style of the bikes used in races by the official Husqvarna team.The single overhead camshaft (SOHC) 4-stroke, liquid-cooled 124.45 cc engine is the same for both versions, TE and SMR125. Cylinder bore and stroke length are 52 mm and 58.6 mm, with a compression ratio of 11.2:1. The 125 cc engine ensures reduced emissions and consumption and is rated EU3. It has a Keihin 29 mm carburettor and electric ignition. The lubrication is wet sump with claw pump and cartridge filter.The front suspension forks have a diameter of 40 mm and 260 mm of effective stroke. The rear suspension has a single shock absorber, with adjustable spring preload. Safety: the front brakes are floating calliper double piston with a disc diameter of 260 mm, the rear brakes are also floating calliper, with disc diameter 220 mm.
