its time with us it has had a digital speedo fitted and reads 3277(£86),this was fitted at last MOT,battery was fitted at last mot,very recent chain and sprockets (£50),big one exhaust front is 6 months old (£102)(just dirty).Engine internals have recent piston-rings(35)gaskets(£16)/power valve(£34)(right hand side one),and it has been re-sleeved which cost £97,Headlight kit also fitted(£44.95)And recent back tyre.renthal bars with new pad.New enduro back light.(£15)custom graphics Has a few scratches as expected with a bike of this age and purpose.Frame hand painted black(see runs).home made seat cover(my wifes a sewing machinist),old original kdx exhaust front included as is spare bottom end with worn main bearings. This brings us to the bikes problem,When it heats up the water system has too much pressure,its as if head gasket is gone,but obvoiusly its new so it isn`t,when we rebuilt and had barrel sent away,we noticed one of the power valves had sheared its teeth.so new one was fitted im wondering if its within this chamber that theres a crack causing the pressure increase,However my son decided he wanted a four stroke bike,and we have decided its time to sell (at a loss)..Perhaps this would be a great base to fit a kdx 200 barrel?,or a kx barrel off same year bike(1991).
