have the time. the bike itself is half restored all of which the last owner has done, its had shock and forks reconed powder coated frame new plastics new front expansion pipe and new bearings all round, the engine its self needs work the last owner rebuilt it she fired up and reved its nuts off he said he couldnt stop it as the result of that the big end bearing collapsed but fortunately did no damage to the barrel there is a small marking to the piston but thats it so the engine does need rebuilding again not a massive cost if you know what you are doing !!! remember this is a 27 year old motorcross bike and does need a little TLC to finnish her off, please no tyre kickers or time wasters i can have the bike delivered anywhere in the UK at additional cost but viewing is recommended just email or phone with your post code and i will get a price of my local motorcycle currier to get the bike delivered to your door any other questions or queries call mark on 07738162100. cash on collection or upon delivery a payment via paypal for delivery befor i let the bike go. thanks mark X | £800.00   £1200.00 | |||||||

out when i contacted Kawasaki with frame and engine numbers to make sure it was a 1998. | The bike rides mint it has just been rebuilt a full clean and regrease all bearings checked and replaced where necessary. Also has a new twin air filter, all balls rear wheel bearings with dust seals. | Front forks have also been checked and oil changed. | Piston and rings checked and are fine bike starts first kick all the time with no problems and is very very easy once you know how to. | I have had and ridden other 500`s mainly cr`s and find the kx is a far better bike to ride although I admit the aluminium framed 500 bikes do look the dogs danglies. The bike outperforms me and is not for a novice but I have ridden on mx tracks aswell as enduros and handles well even in tight wooded sections. | I run the bike on auto transmission oil as its what i`ve always used on all 2 stroke bikes I have had and never had premature engine or gearbox failure. Its changed after every ride as is air filter cleaned and re`oiled. | Plastics are in good condition couple of scratches but all straight no stress marks on them. | The bike is a 14 year old bike but is in excellent mechanical condition. | More pictures can be emailed if requested. | Any questions please ask. | Viewing is fine but need notice due to work and family commitments. | Thanks for l X | £1500.00  | |||||||
