a few other rmz 08 examples and it was certainly easy to compare the condition. I had a very thorough look round and really was is fabulous barely used condition. The suspension has been revalved by TILLIT apart from that- standard. | The bike had been raced for the 08 season, which was good news for me because i knew the owner had kept this bike in first class condition not owned by someone who didnt care for its mechanical condition. Then it was unused for virtually a year (i understand the owner updated the model to 2009 for racing), I part exchanged/traded it with my YZ 250. | Fortunately (for the potential buyer) I am very keen to keep the bike in very good mechanical condition and because the history of maintainance wasnt clear when i bought it i sent it to my mechanic (who looks after a lot of racing bikes in my area) who stripped it down for a total rebuild. | His report stated the bike was in very good mechanical condition, renewing the top end with genuine suzuki parts anyway, piston, rings, valves checked and re-grounded, valve lap etc all set and tuned the suspension for my weight (14 st) I can prove all work and costs- the rebuild + other bits and bobs cost around £500. | I lived near Edinburgh at the time and managed to enjoy it only 2 times after that.
