is not shown). Bike has been fitted with a YZ style rear mudguard with a built in back light & brake light. Fully road legal with working lights etc. The bike rides, stops and steers beautifully and the suspension was set up by a professional. There is little frame wear, which is normally associated with these bikes. The wheels are really good with no real marks,scratches etc. The seat cover is immaculate and the plastics are really good as well. It also benefits from recent chain and sprockets This is the 2005 model, equipped with the Yz style silencer as standard. This is very quiet. The bike comes with a FMF Q4 pipe, which in my opinion probably wants repacking as it sounds very loud when fitted(but does seem to improve performance). The bike comes with the original factory fitted mile counter(which is not fitted) and the original speedo drive fitted and the cable as well. If you wanted to fit a speedo, you could just buy a cheap chrome one for less than £25 on ebay and fit the original cable(supplied as above). Not a lot more to say, ecept that it comes with a number of spare filters and the original rear mudguard. I bought it with the view of changing from my TTR, but after riding a couple of times, just think it is slightly too focused for me as I`m no racer! shaft sits in is broken. this had been sealed off both sides with steel plates and the bike had been used by bump starting it. i dont have the time to change the casting so i am selling it as is. the bike could either be bodged back how it was and used by bump starting it or a secong hand casting used to replace the broken one. theres no shortage of yzf 450 being broke here on ebay. as it it is the bike will start with a bump start and will ride fine. i have removed the inside plate and silicone sealer so oil now leaks out the hole. a tube of silicone and a bit of tin and the bike could be used as is if you wished. me personaly i would want to change the casting.bike can be viewed if required. low start with no reserve. auction will run to the end and will not be ended early. feel free to ask any questions. serious bidders only and cash on collection within 7 days of auction end. they have so much grunt.Owned for just under 2 years and been used regularly, locally in the woods and for light greenlane use only. It has never missed a beat.Thoroughly maintained and serviced with oil change every 10-15 hours and filter change every other oil change.(Oil and filter just changed in preparation for selling)Valve clearances have been checked at the same intervals - 2 valves re-shimmed Oct 2011 (approx. 30 hours ago)Mot expires Sept 11th 2012 and the road tax expires August 31st 2012Mileage is estimated at around 3000 miles as a speedo / odometer was not fitted from new.New chain fitted at approx. 30 hours ago. Front tyre has plenty of life left in it but the rear has flattened off a little and will need replacing soon.Included in the sale is a workshop manual, spare air filter, new replacement front and rear brake pads and the original indicators and mirrors.I would love to keep this bike but I want another sports bike and I haven`t got the time for both.Any serious viewings welcome.
