The power when coming out of a corner is amazing. It is a very fast bike.I have only used this bike in fields as a bit of fun, it has not been raced. The bike has just been rebuilt, with a new piston, and all the gaskets changed. It had only done approx 30 mins since the rebuild.The only bad point on the bike is the clutch leaver has been shortened at some stage. not used it much. I put a new Michalin Trials Competion Tyre on the back last year and have used it for 2 hours since! (cost me about £80 I think). The bike starts very well and has a crisp note to the engine. The gear box and clutch are spot on. I put new fork seals in a few years ago along with piston rings, gudgin pin and little end bearing. These TY monos are now getting collectable. look it`s age but is only really noticable on close inspection. Everything on the DT works as it should. Fitted with period jack-up kit for superior ground clearance. Front tyre is good, rear tyre half worn but has plenty of miles left in it. Good brakes. Very rare new old stock exhaust expansion chamber (cost me £180 from the US!). New chain and sprockets, snail-cam chain adjusters, silencer connecting rubber and exhaust gasket sourced from Yamaha Europe. Renthal handle bars. The silencer has been shortened but is in good condition. The only thing missing to make the bike 100% complete is the tool kit and it`s cover (the rubber toolkit strap is present) and the indicators which are not required for MOT. Comes with spare keys, the V5 and some old mot`s and reciepts. Starts and rides very well. Capable of nearly 70mph. Sounds great. Rare bike in this condition. I`ve not road it on a track, just road it for a hour to bed the new piston in. I`ll will be very sad to see the bike go. superb really stands out from other yzs in my opinion looks better than the alloy frames. whilst it was in bits did all the linkage and shock bearings.it has a few extras that the usual yz dosnt. its fitted with a hydraulic clutch conversion, the carb is spaced further back for more low down tourque, adjustable powervalve damper(it allows you to adjust how quicky the power valve throws open full whack for motocross or toned down to do big hill climbs on enduro so it dosnt chuck you off) and finally metal wrap around handle bar guards which are essential during enduros. when it had its strip down it had new plastics and rockstar graphics. it has oversize footpegs and a blackbird gripper seat with hump. renthal fat bars and pad. its just had a new piston and barrel at a cost of near on £300 at RS racing. comes with spares cables sprockets headlight . it has a fuel tank tap that has a reserve for enduros and a bash plate that i made. it has carbon effect frame guards that are worn but do the job. i have molycoated the chain which is a form of dry lube . piston just fitted needs running in still unless i get a chance not for the faint hearted however you can tame it. if you want a two stroke bike thats not too unpredictable this is the bike for you!!! call tom for details or to view phone:07894686678 X | £1700.00 | |||||||

people who have all only used the bike a few times each. My friend who has owned the bike since 2003 (bought at the same time as the Suzuki rm125 I am also selling for him) used it for one practice session and half of one enduro, since then it has been stored in his dry, insulated garage. It is still on the original chain and sprockets.I have drained and replaced the fuel, oil and coolant. Cleaned the spark plug and air filter and given it a wash to remove the dust. The engine starts easily and sounds very crisp, as expected it runs like a new bike.The clutch action is as new. The brakes work perfectly.The original spares kit (piston, gaskets and seals, jets and workshop manual) are all present.The wheels still have that new sheen to them showing absolutley no sign of corrosion. The forks and shock are the same but to be realistic they will need a service to change the oil and gas. There is an insignificant dent in the exhaust and a small tear in the seat cover and the radiator shroud graphics are not present.The paint on the frame has come off around the foot peg area and there are a few chips on the underside.In my opinion it would still be very competitive racing in the modern class.I am also selling for the same person a 1999 rm125 (pictures included) not used for the last 8years, at that time it had a new gearbox and X | £1.00 | |||||||

for me. In july this year the bike had a top end rebuild which was done with all genuine yam parts which i have the receipts for and old bits that came out. it had piston + rings and a new cam chain and full gasket kit the head was pressure tested etc and was mint all bottom end was checked and was like new if it wasnt it would have been sorted as you cant risk it with these bikes. if you know anything about off road bikes you will know this is the work you what to know has been done when buying one since the work has been done ive used the bike at about 3 practice days the bike runs perfect and pulls like a train all bearings and linkage is spot on also valves checked before last outing and were spot on. the oil and filter and air filter changed after every day out and cleaned and lubricated. the bloke i bought the bike off said the front and back shocks had been away to be tuned and serviced and set up for a 12st rider i have no proof for this but my m8 who races at a good level says you can tell its been done. ive recently fitted new wheel bearings and rear sproket new rear tyre used about 3 outings new progrips the bike has few little trick bits anodised zeta engine plugs fuel cap brake clips etc.bike is mint condition no mechanical faults just the usual marks on the plastics as you would expect but from the pics you pro X | £1900.00 | |||||||

first mot next week, the bike has a fmf exhaust system, r&g crash bungs, the bike sounds a1, it really does sound alot better then a standard exhaust, the bike runs and rides a1,no issues, everything works as it should, the bike is in good condition indeed, and there is no damage to mention, decals have been removed as they age very quickly,new ones from yamaha are 120 pounds, but in my opinion not worth having, as they are not of good quality, after market decal kits are plentyful, but i think it looks good as is, i have all the service books and manuals etc,the first main service was carried out by yamaha then privately by the owner as he was a competent mechanic, hence the bike runs great, i will be putting a full years mot on the bike, bike can be ridden on a restricted license, very easy to ride a nippy little bike, taken as a part ex for an r6, i have the full logbook etc, it just needs a new owner! same owner from brand new!! delivery anywhere in the country as i know a courier, but at cost, bike must be paid for in advance, either by bank transfer or cheque, cash on collection a prefrence, that way you can see what you are buying, feel free to call me on 01883346879. £2550 No offers!!. regards Ben (BIKE LOCATED IN CATERHAM SURREY, JUNCTION 6 OF THE M25) not bexhill!!
