selling but as they say, "You can`t keep them all". It`s a very nice original TT500, I`m sure the bike is a `78 by the colour scheme but I haven`t checked the chassis number to confirm this, of course all you TT fanatics will know straight away, so I`m expecting lots of emails. The minimal wear on the frame and engine cases all looks original and very low use. I have had the tank proffesionally repainted as it was flaking a little with age and fitted a new set of plastics to make the bike 100%. The guy I bought the bike from many years ago started it when I picked it up and I`ve never ran it since then!... So for the last 10 years or so it`s simply sat in my collection. Everything turns over ok so there should be no reason with some fresh fuel that it shouldn`t fire up all ok. Im having a clear out as I need the space so usual eBay rules apply plus I would like the bike collected within a reasonable period of time (around 14 days). No foreign bidders unless you are able to collect the bike within the 14 day period as I have no means to crate or ship any bikes. it has had new Avon Distanzia tyres fitted and a lighting kit fitted with 12 volt conversion and a digital speedo and rev counter fitted, the bike has been UK registerd and has a MOT and runs well. the alloy tank is in very good shape with no dents and has never been painted, there are some marks on the bike and the seat cover could do with replacing but with a little light restoration this will make a mint classic TT 500.
