The guy we bought it from had plans to ride it from his home in the UK, to South Africa. His buddies dropped out, and he ditched the plan.We bought it as it is now, and have been extremely happy with it. We used it for a tour around Europe, and my girlfriend put 1000 miles on it as we rode from the UK to Croatia.My girlfriend is not a heavy handed rider, and treated the bike very well. Amazingly did not drop it once on the whole trip.I was riding a TTR250, and her bike was faster and performed better in every way!I`d say it`s got about 4k miles on it. The speedo shows 5k kilometres (3k miles) but the bike was converted to mph at some point, so I`d guess this means about 4k miles.Either way it`s very low mileage, and had been very well maintained. In many ways it`s the ideal true overland bike. Small capacity means it`s incredibly economic (See the table below, we consistently got around 100 MPG! with luggage), it also get through spares much slower than a big bike does.It`s got a low seat height, and is easy to pick up (not like a big GS!).
