a real bad way so over the past months i have brought the bike back to live. I don`t have any paper work with the bike as i brought it from a friend and when he brought it it had been standing for years in a friends barn, which i didn`t worry about as i had no intention of riding it on the road. The bike runs really well and has never let me down. I`m out on it most weekends and it keeps up with all my mates bikes which are much newer ! Since having the bike i have done the following : Fitted Renthal Bars Fitted a new throttle twist tube Fitted new grips Recovered the seat Changed the engine oil Striped the swing arm to fully clean and regease the pin Fitted a 2nd hand front wheel (new front inner tube) Fitted a new brake lever and changed the fluid Removed all the plastics and repainted Fitted new front wheel bearings I have removed the passenger foot pegs, front and rear grab handles as these where not needed I have made a one off exhaust using a s/s rear can, makes a real nice noise but more importantly it has given better throttle response, i have still got the standard exhaust if this is not to your taste All in all it is now a great off road bike with many more hours of fun left to give, the tyres have loads of life left in them and I`m sure you will not be disappointed I am now looking for a kx/cr or a road legal quad t X

for commuting to work. The bike is in good condition, apart from a small amount of paint flaking on the engine. It has new chain and sprockets a new battery, the back tyre is nearly new, the front is still legal but will need replaced soon. I`ve only used the bike in the summer and it has a service history. It`s MOT`d until May 2011 and has 8 months tax left on it. I have added a few features from when I bought the bike: Krauser Luggage System(2nd hand) Hepco & Becker crash bars(new) Laser Produro Full Exhaust(2nd hand) I have recently just fitted a full set of rear wheel bearings including sprocket carrier. Also I have fitted a new genuine Yamaha Regulator/Rectifier and cut a vent hole out of the side casing to help ventilation as this is an issue on these bikes, the vennt is nicely trimmed off with aluminium mesh so looks the part. New discs and pads were fitted for the last MOT, coupled up with the braided front hoses which were fitted when I bought it the front brakes are great, the rear disc was advised but not a failure and now looking at it it`s now quite corroded but working(No sticky calliper slides in front or rear callipers) I fitted a new chain and front and rear sprockets 3 months ago, I reduced the rear sprocket by 3 teeth to bring the motorway cruising revs down slightly which is now much improved. I was also given a Garmin Quest sat nav unit which is fitted to bars with the correct mounting bracket and soldered into theloom properly, the software is kinda old but still very usable for keeping you in the right direction, I will be including this with the bike. XTZ forum member over 2 years ago for my own use, it was in need of some TLC as a result I have just finished a part restore, I have done what I believed was needed for peace of mind safety and handling. Unforeseen circumstances see it for sale, the bike has done just over 100 miles since below:- The frame was bead blasted mainly for inspection, all welds are good, all sheared bolts and threads, replaced and re-tapped. Frame painted in original colour some £200.00 on paint, 14 coats. All frame, swinging arm, suspension linkages, bearings and sleeves inspected and cleaned, L/H swing arm roller bearings and sleeve replaced (all greased). All brakes have braided hoses, all Callipers have been inspected and overhauled (all piston seals replaced and the rear retaining pins replaced), new pads and new discs. I have also replaced the rear shock, lights, top engine coolant pipe replaced a couple of gaskets and many bolts, rubbers, and spacers The original engine sounded good when I bought the bike (43k miles) but it had a gear selector problem, a spare serviceable engine came with the bike, I was shown a set of clocks that suggested this engine had approx 26k km. The 26k km engine is currently in the bike and running smoothly with no rattles, no leaks, no oil burn, and a working gear selector. It has also just had an engine oil and fi X

Renthall handelbars otherwise standard and unmessed with. In excelent condition although it has the odd very small mark due to being a learner bike. Wont need its first MOT until April 2011 and it has tax until March 2011. It starts and rides perfectly and everything works as it should with no known faults. The bike comes with the V5, Owners manual, service book, two keysand a HPI report showing no outstanding finnance, not stolen and never had an insurance claim on it. I can deliver upto 150 miles from Harrogate HG1 for 50p per mile one way using Google maps. X
