a rebuild or replacement; the damping is very poor, and the rear brake caliper is getting very loose on its pins. | Everything works but it`s all getting a bit rattly. The front racing number plate is held on with a tiewrap after I broke the mounting lug off. There is a large but shallow ding on the left side of the expansion chamber where it loops round, and a small (about 3/8") hole in the seat cover; both have been there for as long as I`ve owned the bike. | The engine is good; starts easily and runs well; clutch drags slightly but not enough to be a problem. Fork seals are good; tyres are used but have plenty of life in them (see photos). Chain & sprockets are part used. | Why am I selling? line problems started to occur.I first had a full engine rebuild about 3-4 months ago it had new; including water pump seal, water pump, gaskets and everything was fully checked.Front forks were leaking but had them refurbished, fitted new bearings and bushings in the rear suspension linkage, the rear shock was faulty so sent it away to re conditioned by `GIBBS suspension` all happened fairly recently.The reason for sale is that i have bought a bike while i was attempting to fix this one but, while it was being used last week end the clutch went i have had a quick tinker around but now do not have the time to look further into it and dew to work commitments and bills to be paid some thing has to go to free up some money. The bike starts first or second kick from cold and was running great before this problem. It has an FMF gold Series fatty front exhaust. This bike has never been raced or jumped, only trail ridden, always garaged, The bike runs and shifts without any problems , suspension is soild, brakes are tight, no wheel wobbles or flatspots. No rust, no rips in seat, excellent suspension, fresh top end, new tyres. The only issue the bike has is a crack in the front rim.
