tyres, i have just had new brake pads in the front, clutch cable, fork seals, water pump seal and battery, I have just given it a full service using castrol engine oil and castrol 2 stroke and a NGK irridium spark plug, It has a blue frame which looks really smart, The power valve works fine and kicks in perfectly, This has been de-restricted so is quite fast for a 125, The previous owner has a top end rebuild on the bike i have a receipt for that with the other docs, I have the MOT certifate and the V5 present, The front indicators are aftermarket ones they are a perlecent colour and look quite good, All the electrics work fine as the bike shop tidied all wiring up for me, The bike is in very condition for its age if i was to pick a fault with the condtion would be the number plate but thats nothing, This is only up for sale as i have lost all my hours at work so unfortuantly this has to go to buy a cheap ped to run about :( will be sad to see it go. Overall its a very good bike for all ages over 17. As for the bike its self, i was along side my mate who has a Suzuki RMZ 450 2010, and across the field in a straight line he could not pull away, on the track he beats me because im a wimp. I`ve owned the bike for 5 months and have done around 5-6 days of proper racing. The bike is fitted with asv brake levers and wavy disks, it has bigger radiators, fatbar handlebars, ohlins suspention, powerbomb exhaust, a talon rear wheel and an hour clock (which i dont know how to work).Please let me know if you are interested in a viewing as i have a professional motox track behind my house if you fancy a ride.Thank you very much, happy bidding. expects for an almost 19 year old bike.So i will be as honest as possible.I bought this bike at the beginning of the month with the intention of putting it back on the road. It has NO V5 present but both frame and engine numbers are present and matching. I got in touch with Yamaha UK who provided me with the Reg number so log book can be obtained. Bike is originally K Reg and Yamaha also said it is a 1993 model.Bad bits.Plastics are tatty,Wiring has been cut and chopped in various places to make do with a field bike. Paint job on frame and plastics isn`t the best.Needs all lights and front and rear brake switches if put back on road.Holes where croggying pegs attach have been partly welded for some reason.Brakes need bleeding.It has a front DEP expansion chamber but has a tiny pin hole in the front. Really small hole by the way.It needs 2 rear bushes for rear arm as there is a little play in it when bike is lifted from the back end.Could do with a brake and clutch lever as looks as though the clutch lever on it is from a mountain bike and it`s quite small.Ok bits.Bike starts and runs. by paul nobbs of Sutton, Cambs in 2009 all new parts fitted where a wisco crank, hotcams, wossner piston kit also 3rd gear was replaced (i have recipts to prove). once i got the bike back i fitted a brand new trailtech computer which is showing the engine has an average run time of just over 63 hours or 1110 miles. since this expensive rebuild i have religously changed oil and filter every 6 hours and used silcolene fully synthetic (£34 for 4L`s) I have custom made a aliminium dashboard for the trailtech computer, ignition on button and the ignition key which paul fitted for security. my bike has never been raced i have only ever used it fot green laning and a couple of welsh trips and salisbury plain area with some other trf members. this bike has loads of trick bits on it, blue anodised talon hubs with 4mm stainless spokes on a 21" front & 19" rear excel rims with good tyres (trelleborg & mitas) FMF Q silencer and titanium header acerbis plastics alround including, bodykit, fork protectors, brush gaurds, DHH headlight, LED tail tidy. blue annidised ASV foldable levers MSR gear lever aipaco frame protectors CRD bashplate Kriega front & rear haul loops custom 3mm thick stainless steel rad gaurds newly fitted rear brake disc for last MOT as where chain & sprockets swingarm bearings & bottom linkage X | £1950.00  | |||||||

5 years.The only reason I am selling this is I don`t get to use it as much as I would like and I need cash to repair my car :-(. As long as I have known the bike it has been very well maintained i.e rings and piston changed regularly. It is in good condition with new piston and rings about 5/6 hours use since last re-build in the summer which cost me just over 600 quid!! It has Tallon Chain and sprocket with loads of life yet, Rental bars, exell rims (straight and true), wavy disc on the back standard front both sets of pads are about half worn, Front tyre is a parreli with loads of tread left, the rear could do with replacing, It has a full FMF Gold Series exhaust, Boyesen factory racing engine and gear box casing plus Internal parts please have a look at there website to see what they do! I went out searching for it to no avail and had to get a replacment (see my bought items) It is only sprayed blue and just needs wiping down with Nitromors or similar. with a new cylinder, barrel, piston, crank (the lot) replacing all the gaskets as he went. I have since stripped, cleaned and painted the bike replacing all the bolts with stainless steel allen heads and replacing bearings and the like as I went. My plan was to finish the bike Mot tax and insure and sell the number plate and keep the bike for greenlaning however I simply don`t have the time anymore and I need the space. So unfortunately it has to go. But if it doesn`t meet the reserve I will store it as it will only get more valuable. The bike has the no. plate DAV3 07Y - DAVE which was its original registration number. Online numberplate websites have valued this plate at over £1000. Similar plates are advertised on their websites for £1700... they agreed to give me £1000 for it then advertise and sell it on themselves. A private sale might see more... To sell the plate the bike needs to have an MOT or be scrapped. It would be possible to break the bike for parts and sell the plate but I wanted to keep the bike as a whole as there aren`t many of these bikes left in this condition. 13294 miles from new - it however has had the engine rebuilt and done under 5 miles since then. not even run in. less than 300 miles since then, which includes me collecting it from Halifax. Overall it`s been quite a decent bike, and able to do around 85 mph on the motorway providing the wind isn`t blowing towards you. The mileage counter does not work, and it has been stuck on 10439 since I got it; I`m not sure how long it had been like that for.The tenth of a mile cog goes round, but none of the others. The speedometer itself works fine. The bike does have a slow oil leak, which I knew about when I bought it, but it`s not really a problem so long as you keep an eye on the level through the inspection window, and top it up every now and then. All the electrics seemed to function until a couple of months ago when I took it for a long drive. The bike started getting hot and loosing power, but started back up again and ran normally once allowed to cool down. From what I`ve learned via Google, this is caused by one of the hoses being blocked up. The bike hadn`t been ran for about 6 months before that, so it does sound likely. At the same time the rev meter stopped working, and it hasn`t worked since; I`m not sure if this is related. I took the bike for a ride today, and didn`t have any problems with it.
