- The ultimate long distance trial machine. I bought this only a few months ago to do some LDT, but a change of job role means it is just not going to get used. It is a 2002 Mk3 and has been well maintained. I have a boxful of spares including numerous new wheel bearings, rear shock and linkage bearings.(There is well over a £100.00 worth in total). The bike has also had recent work, changing the water pump seal(common fault) and new cylinder head O rings. It has also had a new rear brake master cylinder.This work was done professionally and I have receipts. The bike currently has a personalised plate on it ** TRF. This may be of interest to anyone in the TRF, or to anyone with these initials(the prefix is One letter and one number only). The bike is advertised at a price which DOES NOT include the plate. The bike will come on it`s original 02 plate. The plate is however, available by way of seperate negotiation. Everything works - the indicators, headlamp and brake lamps and also the factory fitted fan. The bike also has a fitted bashplate. In terms of what it needs - only chain and sprockets, but it will come with a BRAND NEW 44T Talon rear and 12/13T Talon front sprocket. I also have a BUMTANK available.
