very little use. This is a perfect bike for anyone looking to race evo motocross. It has been road registered on a “Q” plate and has had a full pro racing lighting system including lighting coil, side stand, Honda XR speedo and speedo drive and Acerbis enduro lights installed. These items are easily removed allowing the bike to be returned to moto x trim. The CR had a full rebuild in 1996/97 including engine strip, re bore and new piston (receipts for this), frame paint, o-ring chain and sprockets, brake pads, Renthal bars, chain rollers and more. However the bike has not been used since this rebuild and has been stored for the last 15 years. It has had all new plastics all of which are in excellent condition with no damage, even the petrol tank is mint and scratch free, the rear fender has been drilled to accept an enduro rear light but these are available for less than £20. It has a dent free Schlecten front pipe, DEP tailpipe, Akront alloy rims laced to OEM hubs with stainless steel spokes, Braided front brake hose and The radiators are perfect. It also has quite a few genuine Honda parts as spares such as Stator, flywheel and other electrical parts as well as an Answer roost boost which alters the ignition curve for increased power output plus gaskets and seals. in good condition when i got it. the bike is a 1984 model,this was the first year honda made the 500,before this was the 480 so these are sought after bikes. iam not sure when they changed from air cooled to water cooled but this being air cooled is now a classic collectors piece, | these were aparently suicide on two wheels!! | as you can see the bike has been restored to its former glory along with a very large bill!! its been rebuilt from start to finish by myself and have replaced every nut bolt and washer with stainless steel, | the original hubs were powder coated and has new gold rims,spokes and new tyres. the seat cover is new and the plastics also new,the expansion pipe is an after market DG pipe also brand new. | all the alloy componants were sent away to be polished and now look amazing. the frame was also powdercoated honda red for that year.the original metal data badge is still on the head stock.the front forks are highly polished but now have the correct blue gauters also new,(realy hard to find), the bike is not 100% finished but needs only a couple of things to finish off, i never intended in selling my bike but under the circum stancess i need to rase some cash. | any question please ask away and viewing can be arranged although it is hanging from my ceiling at the moment! | i can also be contacted on my mob X
