machine, hang on for your life! | This bike has been used, no garage queen here. It runs and shifts without any problems , suspension is good, brakes are tight, no wheel wobbles or flatspots. | New top end, bike has not been broken in yet. No rust, a small rips in seat, I changed the paddle tyre and put on a new Dunlop. The front tyre is almost new. The bike has an aftermarket exhaust, there are a few small dings in it. It could use a new set of grips,missing rear mud flap, and front number plate is cracked, the plastics are good but used. | Overall this is a nice bike, Don`t let it pass you bye, they don`t come along very often. | I`ve described the bike to the best of my ability, if something slips by it was not intentional, I don`t check spokes or wheel bearings/swingarm bearings on the bikes I sell. very little use. This is a perfect bike for anyone looking to race evo motocross. It has been road registered on a “Q” plate and has had a full pro racing lighting system including lighting coil, side stand, Honda XR speedo and speedo drive and Acerbis enduro lights installed. These items are easily removed allowing the bike to be returned to moto x trim. The CR had a full rebuild in 1996/97 including engine strip, re bore and new piston (receipts for this), frame paint, o-ring chain and sprockets, brake pads, Renthal bars, chain rollers and more. However the bike has not been used since this rebuild and has been stored for the last 15 years. It has had all new plastics all of which are in excellent condition with no damage, even the petrol tank is mint and scratch free, the rear fender has been drilled to accept an enduro rear light but these are available for less than £20. It has a dent free Schlecten front pipe, DEP tailpipe, Akront alloy rims laced to OEM hubs with stainless steel spokes, Braided front brake hose and The radiators are perfect. It also has quite a few genuine Honda parts as spares such as Stator, flywheel and other electrical parts as well as an Answer roost boost which alters the ignition curve for increased power output plus gaskets and seals. good tyres. Footpegs/gearchange and various other little bits are either stainless steel or chrome plated. Aftermarket Chrome plated Exhaust/silencer, nice and straight. Engine appears to have been polished at some time, with a recent new clutch/waterpump cover fitted. Stamped on the cylinder/barrel are two letters...CT as can be seen in the picture, may be the tuners initials, would make sense if it was, as the compression is incredible. Plenty of compression...will need a strong leg to start this bike. Plastics seem in good usable order. For sale locally...or will take an offer off here. Viewing welcome...TR10 9DN.
