new bridgestone trail tek tyres | Bought the bike 4 months ago with top end rattle and what i thought needed a top end rebuild, however when it was looked at the barrel was ok but needed rebore and piston,the head, cam and rocker wasnt much good so there it sat for 2 months, i then found (with great difficulty) and bought a very good complete top end inc barrel,piston,head, cam and rocker i bought a new cam chain and new gasket, also comes with standard exhaust and full supertrap that i bought for this project, i rode the bike with the top end rattle and it still pulled very well and all the gears were fine, fair condition for age as it is off road bike | I also have a complete dominator engine (Last Pic) inc wireing running gear and this will bolt straight in (THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THE XR) BUT WILL SELL ON IT OWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | I now have another project so im wanting to sell this bike with all the parts to repair but please note im not giving it away so no stupid offers as i wont reply to them and as stated before i may break this bike so please email or bell me on 07876506105 for prices on individual parts | Any Questions Please Ask | X | £1250.00 | |||||||

I allways wanted one of these so in 2010 I found this one, it had stood in the guys garage for about 6months but was still on the buttonit started fine but there was a slight clicking noise from the top of the engine which to me sounded like a loose tappet or maybe a worn timeing chain tensioner sowe agreed a price and I trotted off to my local bike shop which I have used before and plonked in there capable hands explained what I thought was the problem and left it with them, on inspection it was decided that it was the decompresor cam and spring that was at fault so the new bits were ordered and fitted on starting the bike the clicking sound still persisted so a further inspection was carried out, we removed the head and barrel and found some light score marks on the piston so a rebore was recomended with a new piston, rings, gudgeon pin and cam chain, luvly so £270 in parts later when It came to reasemble the engine there was excesive play in thesmall end of the con rod for the new gudgeon pin, because of the costruction of the con rod it is not recomended to ream out the small end and fit a sleeve so I got onto honda who in there wisdom do not supply a con rod kit you have to buy a complete crank £600 now things were getting a bit over the top, after a lot of searching on line with forums ect I found a com X | £1000.00  | |||||||
