to a very high level, chain, sprockets and pads have just been replaced both tyres just replaced all bearings are good with the smallest amount of play in lower shock bearing as with almost all mx bikes. forks seals have just been done FMF gold series fatty pront pipe and HGS tail pipe exhaust system. this bike has just had new piston fitted not even worn in and new power valve cables. The motor starts easy and sounds solid and crisp no funny noises. The gear box select all gears with ease as it should. The clutch is smooth with no nasty judders etc. As you can see she looks very nice in new black plastics with 2012 monster graphics + seat cover. bike has just had new kill switch. Valves were done in february and was checked throughly by ktm and thats all what was needed piston and engine was spot on they said It has up graded exhaust HGS sounds really nice when riding and ticking over , kicks over 1st kick hot or cold! The bike has oil oil filter air filter and new plug every 3 rides with silicone engine oil! It had new plastics and graphics in february so plastics and graphics jagermeister still in really good condition new Maxxis front and back tyre in february sprocket and chain as well! The bike is in really good condition for an 06 bike the only thing i would recommend is a new seat cover it was replaced in february along with all the over work but with bike being strapped to my bike rack when transporting it its got a few marks and small holes in it with the straps being so tight over the top of the seat! size one not sure if the old one was .5 bigger i still have it. i have also put and new spark plug and gaskets on top end i have a new airfilter but the filter cage is missing. i still have a non-runner it has turned over twice with the exhaust off and full throttle then cuts out after around 3 seconds so i built it back up and cant get it running again, fairing in average condition the back can had been cut down and pop riveted on and has since fallen off.Think it needs someone with a bit of time and knowledge and you will an half decent bike to throw around a field. if no offers are made and followed up before listing ends i will end early unless price is near. i am looking for offers around £450 first come first served. collection only any questions please ask. she`s now gone back to an rvf400 which she prefers.i bought the bike as an enduro bike and fitted race shortened mw suspension,supermoto wheels(excel,talon)bar risers to drop the forks through more,a shortened link for the rear suspension,big disc and talon bracket,a sticker kit and pink grips!..don`t worry,i will throw in some renthal ones if pinks not your thing!i also trimmed the seat down too and anyone 5 foot 4 can now put both feet down flat.i kept all the enduro parts,forks,shock,wheels,link etc as well,so the bikes as well suited to a 6 foot 15 stoner as a lady.i also had the top end rebuilt by dave clarke racing with piston and valves etc,so she`s ready to go and runs like a dream.this bike is also 33 bhp legal if that`s a concern,although you`d need a dyno run to prove this.there`s a long mot on it and it hasn`t done much,probably 4 hours since the rebuild.it`s the electric start one as well.so,to sum up,this is the only way to get your girl looking cool on a real supermoto,or great for the shorter rider who would find a crf too tall,or easily put back to enduro spec.i also have a crf450 seat if you wanted to make the seatfoam standard again.if you sold the enduro parts you`d have 300 quid and a cool supermoto.if you sold the supermoto parts you`d have nearly a thousand quid and a cool enduro.and if you kept all the X | £1750.00  | |||||||

it for about 4 months and done approx 10 hours on it, we have never raced it just taken it to a practice track and local fields around my area it has never been driven flat out and the engine is spot on. ago after looking for a long time i realist there was a lot of crap out there with bent frames xt running gear no paper work ect ect. then i was lucky anoth to find this beauty with matching numbers, log book and certificate of manufacture and had not been dropped down a cliff. when i got the bike it was not running i was told the engine was seized, which turned out to be the gear box second gear had broke and made a bit of a mess, so i had the box rebuilt not just second gear but the whorl lot with tt parts NOT xt parts at a cost of about £800 since this i have probly done 30 miles on this bike, it has no mot at the moment but if it make the right money i can get it moted befor pick up. this is a classic enduro bike which are getting harder to find. the bike is adventist elsewhere so i have the right to end the sale early. bike will need to be picked up from nn12. thanks for looking. enjoy riding solo anywhere near as much as i do sidecar - way too much sidecar psychology in my head for 2 wheels! Giving it a dirty great big handful when in a sticky situation just doesn`t work the same on a solo! That`s the only reason i`m selling this awesome thumper.It was completely rewired last month when the new generator was fitted.Route reader bulb wired in for over night trials (the route reader itself needs some attention as i found out during the last rather wet overnighter).Dip and main beam/switchgear wired in.New Vector Trial Tech fitted March - (£100 alone).New O ring chain fitted January and only covered 2 trials.New oil filter in March, again only 2 trials since.New Twin Air filter waiting to be fitted, just haven`t got round to it.It has a spare 14T sprocket as i`ve fitted a recently new Talon 13T. It has an enduro bag fitted to the tail which ive used to carry spare tubes and tools.Its currently running on a Mitchy MT43 (New March) on the front and a V Rubber on the rear (both approved trials tyres) with plenty of life left in them.Tax till Dec 31stMOT till Sept 21stThe only bad point that i can think of is one of the rad shroud graphics has started peeling off - this has never bothered me for what i`ve been doing with it. every ride, only done 91 hours and 1868 miles from new, pretty much all on green lanes around the cotswolds xcepting one time card enduro and over the last year I have not used it much only on the farm next door. As it doesn`t get much use ( at 50 years old it is a bit much for me) I am selling it and am going to concentrate on trials! I am the second owner and bought the bike at 17 hours from AMS KTM in Tewkesbury. I have all the paperwork for the bike, original sales receipt, service receipt from AMS. It even has the original KTM tool kit and document wallet. It is currently on a SORN. | I fiited a KTM electric fan and powerparts map switch, it came with the hand guards which are invaluable when green laning, plus I have fitted a new high capacity battery only three months ago. | The only faults with the bike are some thorn bush scratches on the rear mudguard (pic five shows them) and the clear plastic on the left hand side of the tank has lifted / peeled a bit - pic three shows) plus I lost a bolt from the end of the left hand guard and replaced it with a bar end from my trials bike!! So I stripped itdown and started building my ultimate motocross dream bike. | I started by having the frame andswing arm bead blasted, acid dipped and powder coated in satin black. This isvery durable hard wearing and looks amazing. Along with the frame I had all theengine casings powder coated at great cost, the inner casings in metallicsilver and outer casings in gold. It means all you have to do is wash it and itlooks like new again unlike aluminium which goes dull over time. | When putting the engine backtogether it had a new Hot Rods crank fitted plus every bearing, seal and Gasketpossible. Its got a new Hindson clutch basket along with full clutchplate/spring kit. To try improve traction and increase the torque of the engineI got a heavyweight flywheel as well. I fit a full vertex Big Bore 490ccCylinder kit which is a very nice piece of engineering and is finished of verywell. To ensure good starting and reliability I got a new cylinder head andstage 3 Hotcam as recommended by Vertex with new valves fitted and shimmed by aprofessional engine builder. It has a new DEP s7 system with power bomb on theheader. The new machine featured a single cylinder two stroke engine that was claimed to deliver 40 bhp at 6,500 rpm equipped with an electronic ignition system and an oil injection lubrication system. The suspension offered 7 inches of travel at the front and four inches at the rear placing it at the cutting edge of development at the time. I have all receipts for all services, spares and a full engine rebuilt from Triple D Motorspot in Kendal - totalling over £2,500 - who have looked after the bike from new. This are mainly from the original owner who was meticulous in its maintenance. He sold it on to a friend of ours, who bought on a whim, when he bought a new one the same last year. The second owner rode it around his dads field for a few a few months then sold it on to me. In total it`s done about 140 hours. Me and the previous owner putting about 20 between us. It has an adjstable power valve, FMF Gold Series Gnarly pipe, progressive throttle (for better control), and lots of spares including a full set of plastics, and original pipe. Check out the photos for all spares. It`s in excellent condition, with usual boot rubbings on the frame. It`s currently sorn`ed.
