| Kawasaki KDX220R fully rebuilt and better than new! .For sale due to complete lack of use is my 1999 KDX220R. The bike started life in Canada hence the lack of speedo and the original lack of proper lighting!...>
I bought it last summer and started off by stripping it down to a bare frame and replacing anything I was remotely unhappy with. This included: Blasting the frame, forks and swinging arm and repainting it 2k silver with 4 coats of lacquer. Replacing all pro-link bearing, swinging arm bearings, wheel bearings, headstock bearings and fork seals. Tyres are road-legal Maxxis Enduro`s with less than 100 miles on them. Wheels have been checked and they`re both straight and true. Discs are good - rear one is a wavy disc, pads are new, new fluid and seals where needed. I`ve stuck on some Renthal bars and grips, Apico levers and a pair of genuine Kawasaki hand guards. All plastics have been replaced with UFO items - mudguards, rad guards, side panels, headlamp, frame guards and front fork guards. New grippy seat sover and a genuine Kawasaki tail pack. All electrics have been upgraded with a new lighting coil and reg/rectifier. I had a new loom made up and it now has brake lights working off both levers, and a dip/main headlamp. All switches are combined in one unit. I`ve kept the original km trip meter. Engine has been properly rebuilt with Wiseco rod, genuine piston, rings, gaskets, seals, bearing and output shaft (all new). Barrel has been replated, power valve rebuilt and set up properly, Boyesen reeds, FMF Gnarly pipe and tail X | £102.00   £1600.00 | |||||||
