for a play around the fields, I used the bike no more than 10 times as I decided motox wasnt for me!! When I bought the bike the first things I had done was a new head gasket, radiator hose, ht lead, spark plug, air filter, grips and graphics (not proper KX, I done them myself) after every time of riding the bike was stripped down to engine and frame and cleaned with Pro Clean. The bike was last ridden in March, I havent had time to use it due to a newborn ariving and im sure it would go to a better home, someone who will take her out and use her as she should, the bike still starts first time everytime and sounds amazing, it also kept up with my friends 2003 KX 125 which surprised me! every two rides, and the air filter has always being changed after every ride, bike is always washed off and thoroughly cleaned after every ride.bike is only on second chain and sprockets and they are like new. The only non standard items on bike are alloy sump guard and factory racing clutch cover, everything else is standard. Compared to many 07 kxf`s this bike looks mint and everywhere I go people comment on it. The only slight downside is that I lost the exhaust guard off header pipe but these can be bought for £20. work commitments time hasn`t worked out that way. It`s a 1995 model for which I have the V5. This bike has been confirmed by Kawasaki as the best trail bike they ever made, it really is a great bike to ride. If you want a road legal bike it will require the lights sorting, including the provision of indicators, and a number plate. The forks would benefit from new seals and it would benefit from a new exhaust (it was repaired to be a bit shorter after an off).Non returnable deposit of 20% of the purchase price required within 48 hours and collection with cash for the balance within 7 days (unless otherwise agreed) or the bike will be relisted. small fortune on rebiulding its engine because of the no compression problem.Its had a full rebuild ie bottom end bearing,top end bearing piston,rings,bore re-sleeve valves etc.Ive started the bike and it sounds lovely but not had a chance to ride due to this injury i picked up on my other bike! never been raced, only riden on farm land and practice tracks. I am selling due to my new passion for trials riding and can`t justify having both bikes,sadly. I have always maintained the bike, replacing tyres, keeping fluids topped-up, cleaning after every use and only ran her on high grade oils only. Tyre, spockets, bearing etc all have plenty of wear left. Rear pads need replacing. The last couple of times i rode the bike it slipped out of 4th/5th and down shifted. I am told by a kawazaki dealer that it is probably a slightlt bent selector in the gearbox and is easy to fix. For this i have lowered the reserve price.
