a full proffessional engine re-build, by Greens of Beccles, all reciepts available, costing £679.00 Rebuild consists of: Barrel rebored and replated, con rod, big ends, smallends, new piston, all engine and gearbox seals replaced, fork selector replaced. The engine was removed and dismantled by myself and refitted, it starts and runs really well as you would expect. The rest of the bike works well, No play on any bearings or suspension components. The lights do work but the healight bulb blows, and there is only a rear brake light switch which is tucked up in the frame, there is a very small leak on the exhaust. With some work this bike could be given a full mot and v5 . Reason for sale is i`m after something a bit more competative. I am happy to answer any questions about the bike. to mph is around 32400 miles which is under average mileage a year for a bike It is in above average condion for year and all the panels have no cracks etc (all in good condition) wheels are very slightly pitted and forks and should come off with abit of elbow grease with autosol Frame has surface rust around engine bay and just needs a sand down and paint but attension will be needed under the seat in a few years time where they normally go, passed mot no problem only thing failed was the chain link the wrong way round and front tyre, IT had new tyres front and back fitted when mot and when i brought it the engine was sluggish and had a misfire, engine runs like a dream now, only problem vibrate`s slightley when doing over 60 but not too bad (could be an engine mount rubber gone hard) Also had new battery fitted and cam tensioner where it tapped on tick over, now the bike starts quiet and purr`s like a kitten. Have had oil change and filter and service when i brought the bike, overall a very nice kle (tidy example) carbs have been stripped,clean and balance and hhas an tune up to, sounds fab for an standaard exhaust DOES NOT SMOKE EITHER on start up from cold and has an new oil pressure switch fitted recently selling as i need the space in the garage and no longer need an winter bike and now its getting warmer im riding X

The chain and sprokit arnt to bad . its been looked after and never given any trouble .It can be riden the way it is . bike so it has been used. hi, you are bidding on my kx500 rare bike these days, which i sold to my friend about 2/3 yrs ago in which time he did quite alot to it. He had a full engine rebuild, new plastics, grippa seat, etc and as u can see its got fairly new tryes. i bought it back in september last yr with the intention of gettin back into motocross but due to lack of time never really bothered it has been stood since then , so i thought i`ll let someone else enjoy it.There is acouple ov issues with the bike as with most off road bikes, which are there is acouple of spokes missin off the back wheel, it needs a set off wheel bearing`s in it to. For sum reason i cant get the bike started off the kick but it bumps off ok usual wear n tear marks , It is very powerfull as people should well no these are not for the faint hearted. It did have alogbook with it once over but my friend misplaced it so it could be put back on the road quite easily, could be a really good supermoto.The bike has been relisted due to it not been quite what the winner wanted, as he informed me that it does not hav the original kickstart this is y u cant kick it off properly and the front brake fluid holder is not original that sits on the handle bars, i would ov put this on the first listing but i wasnt to no these things, the bike is an offroad bike and X

My brother bought it with the intention of using it for green lane riding, It was left in his garage unused for 10 years, When I swapped him for a bike I had at the time. It has been in my garage awaiting restoration for the last 8 years. I purchased from Corby Kawasaki New mudguards for back and front, new headlight and cowl, and a good condition seat. It ran perfectly when it was put away but the kick start needed atention. the new plastics cost over £150. april. So the bike hasnt been raced or used much in the past few years. It was started regualarly whilst i was away and has ben used a couple of times since i have been back. The bike is in perfect working order and has had lots of extras added to the bike. Before i left, I had a brand new piston kit fitted, top and bottom gasket set, new power valve arm clip and a Re-Chrome. Its had main seals and main bearings replaced. A new THC O ring motocross chain, New decals and many more. It comes with a Pro-Circuit exhaust system, Fat bars and Talon front and rear sproket set. I have receipts for all work carried out on the bike since iv had it. The bike is in perfect working order and is very very fast for a 125cc. I really do not whish to sell the bike but i just dont use it any more. If the bike sells for 1300 or more i will throw in a 2 bike trailer. new pro circuit front fender and has pro circuit hand guards. also has so much compression a small person would not be able to start it not discriminating small people. starts first time with one good kick. wheelies very well a lot of power. brilliant acceleration and top end also has 6 gears. just had a front pipe put on due to small hole, and also brand new front tire and set of race brake pads all round and re bleed with dot 4 fluid. Excellent bike to ride not a small bike im 6ft 2 and can just touch the floor with both feet. however i got the bike home and realized it was not the sound running bike as described (you know who you are!). For the past two weeks my good friend has worked day and night to get this bike how it should be and now the bike is sound. Smooth through the gears starts no problem. Things wrong - needs new kick start as teeth are worn (ran out of funds to sort but it isn`t a costly thing to sort but the bike does bump start) and also needs new back brake disk that`s it! bike is a 1993 model we have owned it now for 7 years and in that time it has had a brand new barrel and piston, brand new gears which include 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th including gear selectors and gear selecting barrel which was all fitted by wakefield offroad centre. The cost for all this work alone was the best part of £1000, since this work has been carried out the bike has only been used for a couple of hours. We have never raced this bike. All this said this bike is not for the faint hearted and is one of the fastest bikes ever made for motocross. Even though it has been stood for 3 years, a bit of fresh petrol and 4/5 kicks later it started and runs as it should, was out on it for 10 minutes today.
