every ride, only done 91 hours and 1868 miles from new, pretty much all on green lanes around the cotswolds xcepting one time card enduro and over the last year I have not used it much only on the farm next door. As it doesn`t get much use ( at 50 years old it is a bit much for me) I am selling it and am going to concentrate on trials! I am the second owner and bought the bike at 17 hours from AMS KTM in Tewkesbury. I have all the paperwork for the bike, original sales receipt, service receipt from AMS. It even has the original KTM tool kit and document wallet. I have all receipts for all services, spares and a full engine rebuilt from Triple D Motorspot in Kendal - totalling over £2,500 - who have looked after the bike from new. This are mainly from the original owner who was meticulous in its maintenance. He sold it on to a friend of ours, who bought on a whim, when he bought a new one the same last year. The second owner rode it around his dads field for a few a few months then sold it on to me. In total it`s done about 140 hours. Me and the previous owner putting about 20 between us. It has an adjstable power valve, FMF Gold Series Gnarly pipe, progressive throttle (for better control), and lots of spares including a full set of plastics, and original pipe. Check out the photos for all spares. It`s in excellent condition, with usual boot rubbings on the frame. It`s currently sorn`ed. for me! I am the second owner of the bike and have the original delivery and inspection reciept, service book, owners manual with maintenance schedule, spares manual aswell as a ktm bag similar to laptop bag. | The bike is in immaculate condition, being a ktm it comes with brembo brakes and hydraulic clutch, white power suspension, billet triple clamps and excel rims. | Its still has the original plastics and levers, the graphics were brand new when i got the bike so they`re around 5 or 6 rides old. The chain and sprockets which are renthal were put on two rides ago and are still perfect. i checked the valve clearances on the bike before i rode it and they were all well within the spec stated in the manual. The bike still starts fine and runs great. The rear wheel bearings are brand new and never been ridden just changed for sale the front bearings are fine same as front and back brake pads. The exhaust has been professionally welded as seen in the picture as it cracked like most of the 2008 bikes. I have changed the oil and filter and even cleaned both oil screens every two rides and filled with the recommended motrex oil. And obviously the air filter has been cleaned and oiled every ride. alot bigger than me so i sent the suspension off to tripleD for a full set up for a 12 st rider and feels fantastic compared to standard,although it cost 450quid worth every penny. due to lack of use recently the fork seals started weeping these have been replaced with fresh oil ready to go. not liking the idea of moosses i went for the tubliss cores which has a mini tube to seat the tyre bead and run the main tyre as tubless which means you can replace tyres easly have no tube to puncture and can run as low as 5 psi in realy muddy conditions with a moose you cannot change the pressures in my oppinion these are another must have. search for tubliss cores! i used the bike for fun days with wor events and a couple of hare hounds, i fitted ktm wraparound hand guards ktm alloy bash plate ktm low seat, (origional seat included with little tare on it) anodised orange clutch brake fluid covers gear box bolt for a bit of bling! it also has a full gnarly pipe which helps with the midrange tourque it can be ticked along at no revs for the hard bits and when its on the power it is plenty fastenough for any rider and being so light it realy is the bike to have. early last year i had a piston and ring kit from ams to freshen things up ready for some events with wor - but with a never ending house extension and more kids arriving it hasnt X | £2300.00 | |||||||

weather rider. I bought the bike with 10 hours on the engine i checked the valve clearance and re shimmed it before i rode it and have but on between 6-8 hours of light use after this. The oil has been changed every 2 rides using Motorex except for the last change were I have swapped to Putoline nano tech 4+ a hiflo oil filter has been used every time. Air filter cleaned every ride without fail using twin air filters and Putoline filter oil. Bike has been well looked after probably more than it has been used! you the usual rubbish that it`s only ever been gently green laned on sunny days by a beginner and has only done 60 hours in three years. It`s a race bike and I`ve raced it, done practice days and also a bit of green laning. As such it`s never wanted for anything to keep it in top condition to ride. | The hours show 152. At 107 it had a full engine rebuild and the barrel re-chromed. All work was done at Manchester Xtreme, my local off-road shop. It`s recently had new chain and sprockets (stealth rear, Tsubaki O ring), grips, front and rear pads, gear change lever, side and front decals and a rear chain guide. The original decals had my name on them so I`ve replaced these as who wants to ride a bike with someone elses name on it. The tyres are used but road legal ones in fair condition. I have a large and small number plate for the bike. The bike was MOT`d in mid April and the tax runs from the first of April. | The rims have been polished and were like this when I bought the bike. There are some small dents in the exhaust which I`ve taken a picture of to show. Also a small tear in the seat cover which has been glued down, again pictured. It`s got heavy duty tubes front and rear and rim locks. to the highest standard with regular oil changes every 3 rides using only top grade synthetic oil, it has never been raced, only used for weekend green lanes. I have owned this bike for 3 years and have loved her as much as my wife !!!. I have just put a brand new Maxis rear tyre on as seen in pics and the front still has loads of life left, replaced engine Big end, and main bearings, new wheel bearings as well as swing arm bearings. This was all done about 1 month ago (better to be safe than sorry). I always use Motor-ex two stroke oil of which she has a full tank and super unleaded petrol. this bike has also had a new piston and rings fitted approx 3 months ago, she really is a lovely example of her class. It has never let me down and can definately hold her own against the modern two strokes. New wavy discs were fitted along with new brake pads the same time as the piston and full service was done 3 months ago so it wants for nothing. (there is a small dent on the exhaust (see pic) and the odd scratches on the plastics as you would expect for a bike that does green lanes). I have only ridden her twice since the service as the weather has been foul and weekends have been taken up with my other bike (Super Moto). been properly looked after & maintained as my biking time is precious to me & I never want to lose a days riding due to a bike letting me down. | I have recently overhauled the engine & replaced the majority of engine bearings including the big end, small end, mains, output shaft & main clutch support bearing, its just had its 3rd piston & rings so shouldn`t require any more work for a while. | The bike has almost always been properly washed after use with the seat, tank, rad guards, air filter & brake pads removed & run up to operating temperature after being washed as these engines are bad for getting internal corrosion if this is not done. I have frequently used Putoline PPF52 conditioner after washing to avoid corrosion. | Most of the other bearings & bushes on the bike have been replaced or serviced at some time as & when required. | The standard exhaust pipe is in working order but not too pretty anymore as its has a few dents & some welding repairs, I have a well used original KTM carbon exhaust guard for it that protects it from most things. | The road legal Mitas tyres are still OK for trail riding but you`ll probably want to replace them for competion use. | The seat cover is well worn & torn but I have a new seat cover waiting to be fitted, I just don`t have a suitable X | £3250.00 | |||||||

Steahly fly wheel weight, 18 inch rear wheel, KTM hand guards and bash plate. We have run the bike for two seasons, and the engine was fully rebuilt at the begining of last season. This included new big end and main bearings, replacement piston, and barrel re-chromed etc. The engine is absolutely mint! It starts first kick, and runs really smoothly. Just right for enduro or Hare and Hounds racing. The overall condition of the bike is very good, with just the usual knocks and scrapes. The exhaust has a few dents in it, which could easily be blown out. Other than that its a very tidy bike. I`ve had the bike for a year now, i bought it off a guy who had it sat in his shed under covers for 4 years and i bought it off him with an idling problem, as soon as i got home i stripped the carb and cleaned it, After cleaning the carb out and a fresh tank of fuel it ran beautiful. Lately I`ve hardly used the bike because of no time, money, not having the right gear and no trailer. Used the bike no more than 8 hours after having it for a year, spend much more time taking it apart and cleaning it making the bike look MINT. When I got it I`ve replaced: - Wheel bearings - Tyres - Chain and sprockets - Pads front and back - Fork seals - Serviced rear shock - Just done oil and filters change Will be sad to see it go as I got it for my 18th birthday and put a lot of love into it. More than welcome if you want to come and see the bike, will not be disappointed with the racing rino exhaust, it sounds lovely!!!!!!!! Bike starts with no more than 3 kicks every time! The bike is all ready to take it to the track and have a rip and that`s what the bike needs!!!!! Most people are sick with the 250s and 450s I think 400 is just perfect. Item Description | You are looking at a 2000 KTM250 EXC two stroke kick start Enduro bike...This was meant to be my own personal bike but after an accident I am not going to be riding anytime soon...because I was having it it has had no expense spared on a total rebuild/makeover...it has had the following done to it:- | FRAME STRIPPED BLASTED AND POWDERCOATED ORANGE | ALL NEW BEARINGS IN FRAME | TOTAL ENGINE REBUILD WITH NEW CRANK AND PISTON | NEW BODYWORK ALL ROUND | NEW LIGHTS | NEW TALON T3 BLACK RIMS WITH BRAND NEW TYRES (AC10`S), RIMLOCKS AND HD TUBES | NEW CLUTCH | EASTON HANDLEBARS | RFX FOOTPEGS | Since we have done all this the bike has seen the Mud briefly just the once then I had me crash racing (not this bike) so am having a big clearout and starting afresh when i can ride again...this bike has cost over £2K (Trade parts prices as welll...!) to put together and that`s without any labour costs.
