these 250 models came into the country as most of the ones imported where 360`s She is a 78 model though was registered in 82 I have the log book, but she is NOT MOT`d (I can do this by arrangement) She runs absolutely great,as you can see she has been rebuilt, so what have I done? I`ll try to remember it all. The frame swingarm etc has been shot blasted and resprayed in 2 pack black, the shocks (work very well and are original), have been stripped down cleaned rubbed down and resprayed, the exhaust (I can`t find a dent, but there must be a small one somewhere) has been stripped down and resprayed. The wheels have been stripped down, spokes cleaned, hubs blasted and resprayed as have the backplates, polished the very good conditon rims (still have Akront stickers on them) then rebuilt using new wheel bearings, rim tape, tubes and tyres (rear one expensive Michelin) I have fitted new cables, expensive Timken Tapered headstock bearings. The plastics are ALL original the side panels have been sprayed black and have had new yellow number backing fitted as has the headlight, the lights are all original and work, the light switch is original (still part of the AMAL clutch lever). The front and rear mudguards are the original opaque Mont ones, though as you can see the front guard has had a bit of a big repair (I believe these are b X
