tyres front and rear, the kick start lever is a bit crap and could do with replacing but it still works, this runs fine and is very quick, good power band, runs all day once bumped, kicking it up a pain and too tiring, someone who knows about bikes prob set carb up or adjust sommat for cold kickstart, good brakes, new clutch plates last year, regular oil change, rear brake reservoir bracket snapped so just tied on, no big deal though, i lost the rear brake lever spring so just put a spring on to pull foot brake lever back up when pressed, easy changed by new owner, no cracks to plastics, front radiator took a few hits of branches etc but not punctured, not a big deal, plastics scratched here and there but it is a crosser, nothing major, can deliver (MAX 20 MILES) once paypal completed but cash on collection ok, ITEM LOCATION, HALIFAX WEST YORKSHIRE X | £375.00  | |||||||

the bike for about two years and have had a lot of fun on it just comuting to work and going on the odd weekend ride. The bike has bean very well maintained in the time ive had it as i am a motorcycle mechanic and it had a top end engine rebuild around a year ago due to a factory fault, since then ive done the 3x3 airbox modification uprated the carb to give it a bit more power and it runs perfectly. taxed, starts easily and rides very well. The ignition switch and fork gaitors have been replaced recently and it has a Sebring can, otherwise it looks pretty much unmolested. I suspect it has spent most of it`s life on the tarmac as there is none of the usual damage found on trail bikes, having said that, it does require some cosmetic attention, mainly paintwork around the swinging arm/suspension area. The suspension has been revalved by TILLIT apart from that- standard. | The bike had been raced for the 08 season, which was good news for me because i knew the owner had kept this bike in first class condition not owned by someone who didnt care for its mechanical condition. Then it was unused for virtually a year (i understand the owner updated the model to 2009 for racing), I part exchanged/traded it with my YZ 250. | Fortunately (for the potential buyer) I am very keen to keep the bike in very good mechanical condition and because the history of maintainance wasnt clear when i bought it i sent it to my mechanic (who looks after a lot of racing bikes in my area) who stripped it down for a total rebuild. | His report stated the bike was in very good mechanical condition, renewing the top end with genuine suzuki parts anyway, piston, rings, valves checked and re-grounded, valve lap etc all set and tuned the suspension for my weight (14 st) I can prove all work and costs- the rebuild + other bits and bobs cost around £500. | I lived near Edinburgh at the time and managed to enjoy it only 2 times after that. street and back and as soon i twisted the throttle abit back the front wheel was in the air, i have to sell it as its in the house taking too much room up and someone is not happy about it being in the house, the bike starts within a couple of kicks its had new rear pads some new gaskets and recently had a rebuild before i got it its got a dyno port exhaust its seaping oil out of the gear shaft oil seal its only 3.30 for the oil seal and my mate says its a 10-15min job the back brake is soft and needs adjusting marks as to be expected of this type of bike and its age 2 or3 small nicks in the seat recently had the frame powdercoated suspension is fine and works as it should the kickstart is stiff to pull out and push back in, nothing to do with kicking it over, its just stiff pulling out in the kicking postion and pushing it back in, think it just needs oiling, but like i say nothing to do with the starting of the bike showa front suspension needs to be set up to tick over as it dont tick over buy it now or best offer listing uk bidders only pick up from new brancepeth, durham must be collected within 3 days of ending cash on collection only as i carnt deliver no timewasters and no scammers cheers X | £725.00 | |||||||

was peeling off we blasted and painted it.The silencer is the only bad point,i don`t think its a Suzuki part but a yamaha one thats been modified to fit,though it does fit well and work perfectly.The bike has had new rad panel graphics,seatcover and backgrounds by MXM so all origonal looking.The plastics are all origonal oem.there`s a new Twin Air filter fitted.New chain.The stickers are still on the origonal rims so its safe to say the bike has done very little work.The suzuki oem lower fork guards are still on the bike and in good shape,these are always the first thing to get knackered and thrown away.the swingarm is unmarked and the "full floater" graphic is a good indication of the condition as these are anodised on from new and not a sticker.£1450Please call to arrange a viweing as the bike is in secure storage and we need a couple of hours to collect the bike and put some fuel in (they dont allow us to keep bikes there with fuel in) We consider all part exchanges,providing its a good deal we can work with most bikes.A full VAT receipt can be supplied with the machinewe accept all forms of payment though the funds need to be cleared in our bank before collection (yes Mr Robinson,i know you want to buy a bike for your son on a card and we can`t deliver it...)Please call in business hours on 07968 800062 (or send a X | £1450.00 | |||||||
