tyres front and rear, the kick start lever is a bit crap and could do with replacing but it still works, this runs fine and is very quick, good power band, runs all day once bumped, kicking it up a pain and too tiring, someone who knows about bikes prob set carb up or adjust sommat for cold kickstart, good brakes, new clutch plates last year, regular oil change, rear brake reservoir bracket snapped so just tied on, no big deal though, i lost the rear brake lever spring so just put a spring on to pull foot brake lever back up when pressed, easy changed by new owner, no cracks to plastics, front radiator took a few hits of branches etc but not punctured, not a big deal, plastics scratched here and there but it is a crosser, nothing major, can deliver (MAX 20 MILES) once paypal completed but cash on collection ok, ITEM LOCATION, HALIFAX WEST YORKSHIRE X | £310.00  | |||||||

You will need to have a good boot on you to start it but once going its no problem. Engine runs excellent with no horrible noises and rides good too. | However, all this said above it does require an MOT and tax if you intend to take it on the road. Only things i think it might need are as follows: | There are only rear indicators fixed which can either be taken off or front ones put on as well but indicators arent needed for mot and tyres might need changing as possibly not road legal. The bike has bean very well maintained in the time ive had it as i am a motorcycle mechanic and it had a top end engine rebuild around a year ago due to a factory fault, since then ive done the 3x3 airbox modification uprated the carb to give it a bit more power and it runs perfectly. taxed, starts easily and rides very well. The ignition switch and fork gaitors have been replaced recently and it has a Sebring can, otherwise it looks pretty much unmolested. I suspect it has spent most of it`s life on the tarmac as there is none of the usual damage found on trail bikes, having said that, it does require some cosmetic attention, mainly paintwork around the swinging arm/suspension area. import, and is a 1991 model that was first imported and registered in 1999. This differs from the UK model, in having a higher specification suspension including upside down forks and disc brakes front and rear. The speedo reads in Kilometers and as such shows a reading of just 16003 km - this equates to approximately 10,000 miles. It is very similar and based on the UK DR350, and many engine and cycle parts are inter-changeable. For any of the Japan-only spec parts, I have found Crescent Suzuki in Bournemouth very helpful. It is fitted with an aluminium and stainless steel rear pipe and silencer (re-packable) made by FMF. I have owned this bike for just over 6 months and it has proven to be totally reliable, having been used, on occasions, in all weathers! It is light, easy and fun to ride. I do have the pillion foot pegs although they are not fitted at present (see photos). The photos will also show that the bike is used - there is paint rubbed off the frame in various areas, the tank has a dent on the left hand side and the tyres are fairly worn - there is also general wear and tear - this bike was used for trail riding by the previous owner. a minute started to choke up. the antifreeze had all mixed in with the oil and filled the case to brim. it was running fine before it was stood so gasket or seal must have perished over the years.the fork tubes are also badly corroded as in pictures but the sliders are mint so shouldn`t affect the action they just look bad, some play in the linkage and front brake pulls to the bar with no action.obviously the bike needs attention so is sold as spares or repair.overall its pretty good considering the age and I have seen much worst brought back to life.I will drain the milky oil/antifreeze and put in some new oil, then when its collected it can be started with no coolant so it can be heard running.Your more than welcome to come have a look and a good poke around.NO OVERSEAS BIDDERSCheers Matt X | £235.00  | |||||||
